Mechanism of Action of Diphenylpyraline

Diphenylpyraline exerts its action by acting as an H1 receptor antagonist. It antagonizes most of the pharmacological actions of Histamine and reduces allergic symptoms. It also has anticholinergic properties and reduces secretions.
