Piperazine derivative, Antihistamine, Anticholinergic, Antivertigo/antiemetic.
Mechanism of Action of Buclizine
Buclizine produces Antiemetic action by its central action on Chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ). It decreases the sensitivity of Labyrinth apparatus which transmit stimuli to the CTZ and stimulates the vomiting center.
Buclizine is a potent H1 receptor antihistaminic agent. It has anticholinergic activity also

Oral
To prevent motion sickness:
Adults: 50 mg to be taken 30 minutes before travel. The dose may be repeated every 4 to 6 hours if needed. Not more than 150 mg should be taken in one day.

Store the drug at room temperature in a tightly closed container. Protect from heat and light.
