Monobenzone Pharmacology

Monobenzone

About Monobenzone
Monobenzyl ether of hydroquinone, Skin whitening/depigmenting agent.
Mechanism of Action of Monobenzone
Monobenzone increases the excretion of melanin from melanocytes and produces depigmentation. Monobenzone also prevent melanin production and causes destruction of melanocytes and permanent depigmentation. Depigmentation is erratic and takes 1-4 months to occur while existing melanin is lost with the normal sloughing of the stratum corneum and excretion of new melanin is increased by Monobenzone. Hyper pigmented skin appears to fade more rapidly than normal skin, and exposure to sunlight reduces the depigmenting effect of the drug.

You can use this directory to find the medicine stores in your city (or area) that provide home delivery services for monobenzone and other medicines and health products. Home delivery services for monobenzone may be free or they may cost you depending on the pharmacy and the minimum order requirements. It would be best to get this clarified while placing the order.

Please be aware that you should take monobenzone only if a doctor has recommended or prescribed it. Some or all pharmacies who provide a home delivery service for medicines might insist on a prescription for monobenzone before they complete the sale. You can get this information while placing the order for monobenzone with the pharmacy.

Monobenzone is a generic medicine name and there are several brands available for it. Some of the brands for monobenzone might be better known than monobenzone itself. If the pharmacy that's willing to deliver medicines to your home doesn't have monobenzone in stock, you can ask for one of the branded alternatives for monobenzone.
