Typical Dosage for Tetanus Toxoid
For active primary immunization two doses of 0.5ml each by I.M.route at an interval of 4-6 weeks.
Reinforcing dose should be given, 6-8 months later, to increase the level of immunity. Booster dose: in previously immunized persons, a booster dose of 0.5ml I.M. should be given every 5 years to maintain adequate level of immunity.
For pregnant mothers: by I.M. administration of two doses of 0.5 ml starting in seventh month of pregnancy with an interval of four weeks. If immunization status is not known then three doses of TT should be given starting on sixth month with an interval of four weeks between each.

Pertussis is a common, highly infectious, respiratory disease, mainly affecting children.
Pertussis Vaccine is a sterile suspension of inactivated whole cells of one or more strains of Bordetella pertussis in saline. Vaccine contains individually prepared and purified antigenic components of Bordetella pertussis adsorbed on a mineral carrier such as aluminium hydroxide or hydrated aluminium phosphate. It contains either a suitably prepared pertussis toxoid or a pertussis toxin-like protein free from toxic properties produced by expression of a genetically modified form of the corresponding gene.
Pertussis Vaccine (Adsorbed): A sterile suspension of inactivated whole cells of one or more strains of Bordetella pertussis in saline to which hydrated aluminium phosphate or aluminium hydroxide has been added.
